Setting the Tone

You will have many firsts, my friend, a bite or love, a laugh or step. But with it all do not forget, first making sure the tone is set. See it will dictate where you go. You may fly high or duck too low. And wonder how you found it yet, your mind in fog, or hands in debt. So when your focus does distract, then my friend, make this your pact. Simply inspect how you feel, and return again to what is real. For if you can hold long enough, through spoken arrows or jagged bluff. Then you will find your house is pure. The tone was set without a chore. So, my friend, go forth at once. Rid impostors — and do be blunt. Do not compromise or turn, when making sure you set the tone.
