Authenticity compounded is the only moat

I'm starting a show about being yourself.

I don't mean a little bit of yourself. I mean fully, all in, unapologetically.

You might think the game is about building something great. Remember you will die someday, AGI or not.

Why are you here?

Building a company is easy. Being fully yourself is harder.

There is no blueprint.

A question that seems easy to answer but is actually very hard — who are you?

I'm forming a fundamental thesis that authenticity compounded is the only moat.

What I mean is — when you full send your unique superpowers, who you really are at your core, there is no competition.

You are completely differentiated, n of one.

"Competition is for losers"

My show will talk to people who are examples of that.

The first episode I did was with my friend Arib — someone who's achieved ridiculous results in a seemingly short amount of time.

20 yo making 9m/year — moved to sf 1.5 years ago. Did it all on his terms. Doesn't even code.

But he is unapologetically himself. And that's what I respect about him.

He's polarizing — you either love him or hate him. But isn't that the point?

Authenticity comes at the risk of being disliked or vilified. You can't please everyone.

So I'm excited to bring you the stories of people who are great at being themselves — and as a byproduct of their differentiation achieve great things.
